Come along and touch and feel as you learn how to use different types of thread, fittings and other techniques to take your braiding experience to the next level.

Make a keeper for your scissors, knitting bag or school bag while learning the basics of this Japanese Craft. This is an introduction to Kumihimo and no previous experience is necessary. This class is suitable for children over 10 years. Why not bring your Daughter or Granddaughter and have some fun learning something new together.
Kit contains: All the threads needed to complete the project.
You will also need a Kumihimo Disk $12 (Special Class Price you can purchase on the day if you don’t already have one.)
Please bring: Scissors and note book.
Class duration: 1 hour
Students will already have an understanding of a basic Kumihimo Round 8 Braid. In this class you’ll learn to incorporate beads into the braid to make a stunning necklace. If you would prefer to make a bracelet rather than a necklace, the cost would be $59
Kit contains: Beads, Silk thread, Beading Needle, Deluxe Fittings.
Please bring: Scissors, beading mat or felted tray, tape measure.
You will also need: a round Kumihimo Disk and a set of bobbins. These are available for the special class price of $18.50
Tea & Coffee is provided. As this is a 2½ hour workshop you are welcome to bring a plate to share.
